Vax's Story

Vax is a lovely, playful and snuggly-sweet boy from the TNR litter. He loves to play with all the toys and his siblings, but then he'd love nothing more than to lay on your legs and suckle a blanket and snooze. Vax is particularly bonded to his handsome brother, Tripper, and they would love to go home together and be bros for life.

The TNR kittens were found hanging out in a neighborhood colony. They came in underweight and carrying a smorgasbord of parasites, but all have shaken it off and are ready to find their forever home.

Why the name Vax? Team TNR is named after Trap, Neuter and Return, the humane way to manage community cat colonies by trapping, fixing and then returning them to the place they call home. Supporting spay and neuter is one of the most important things we do (50,000 surgeries and counting), and this litter is named in honor of every TNR volunteer who heads out at night or before dawn, armed with traps and irresistible food, and makes a difference one cat at a time. Vax is named for the life saving vaccinations that all TNR cats get before they return to their colony - often this is the only vet care they will get in their lifetime.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-cats/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
