Vaughn's Story
Vaughn is a domestic short haired, brown tabby, neutered male kitten with an estimated date of birth of the first week of August 2025. Vaughn and 2 other kittens were removed from a rural location in northern Otter Tail County, MN that was far from safe for 3 approximately 4-5 week old kittens. A momma cat could not be located, so a live trap was set for mom and monitored over 3 days. However, the live trap remained empty, and did not capture a nursing momma cat or any other cat. Vaughn and the 2 other kittens easily transitioned to solid food and did not require supplementation with kitten milk replacer.

Vaughn is presumably the brother to Vikki as they are both similar in size and weight, whereas Victor is much larger by size and weight. The kittens had been handled by humans and were used to human contact as they were not fearful or feral. Vaughn enjoys pouncing toys and human feet, and climbing vertical structures. Vaughn will leap onto your back if bending over from the waist to pick up something from the floor, or while scooping litter boxes. Vaughn is athletic and super playful, and needs some redirection with wand toys so as not to associate human hands as chew toys. A home with children older than 8 years is preferred. If looking to adopt a sibling pair of kittens, Vaughn and Vikki are a great choice.

Neutered; current on vaccinations; treated for intestinal parasites; negative for both feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus; microchipped; and litter box trained.
