Meet Vanilla Bean, a handsome, eye-catching, chatty young man. Vanilla Bean may be deaf, but that doesn't stop him from having a conversation with you. Following you around the house from room to room, he'll strike up a conversation to let you know that he's there. He absolutely adores human attention. Whether that's sitting next to you on the couch watching television, sharing a quick nap with you, or watching you cook from afar, he is all about it. Friends coming over for dinner? He'll be there to greet them as they walk in the door. <br/><br/>Vanilla Bean would thrive as your one and only if you're a WFH kind of person but may be able to coexist peacefully with another kitty. Being deaf, he does startle easily, but quickly forgives you when you offer him one of his two favorite things: love or food, or a wand toy here and there. <br/><br/>He is a very smart and resourceful young man. If you put his favorite wand toy in a drawer, he will notice and lead you to that drawer when it is playtime again. Using his big, strong muscles, and determination, he can easily open cabinet drawers and doors to feed himself when he gets hungry, so it might be a good idea to get him an automatic feeder he can't break into!<br/><br/>If you're looking for a super affectionate, shadow cat who will treat you like family the instant he sees you, fill out an application and swing by our facility during our visiting hours!
