Valentine's Story

Valentine - Female Spayed DOB 2/9/2016 Black -

Valentine is a super sweet girl who is ready for a quiet home of her own where she can finally settle in and relax. True to her name, she really loves her people and will happily rub all over you to make sure you don’t forget to keep the pets coming. She can have a little bit of sass while she’s getting to know someone, but once she feels comfortable, she leans into that affection and enjoys being close.

She would much rather be your one and only. Valentine isn’t a fan of other cats and is currently living in a cage at the rescue, which has been hard for her. She’s ready to stretch out, roam, and be in a home where she can feel comfortable and secure again. She was recently returned to us when her previous family had to move and couldn’t take her along, and we would really love to see her back in a home where she belongs.

Valentine has the most beautiful, sleek, shiny coat and takes great pride in her meals, so she may need a little help with portion control. She’s otherwise a very content cat, especially in a calm environment where she can be the center of attention.

Valentine is FIV-positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and she’s doing great. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives, and she’s no exception. It doesn’t affect people or dogs, and since she’d prefer to be your one and only, there’s no concern about other cats. She’ll just need the same kind of routine care and attention any loved cat would get.

She would do best in a quiet home with no dogs and no children, where she can truly settle in and be someone’s whole world. She is absolutely worth it.

For more information on FIV and cats living together with this virus, please visit:https://bestfriends.org/resources/fiv-cats-faqs-feline-immunodeficiency-virusAll kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.
