Vacation Vicky's Story

Hi, my name is Vacation Vicky! I'm a GREEN pawprint, which means I will fit in well to any home.
Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Friendly, Active, Confident, & Affectionate.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, may do okay with slow, proper introduction.
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history, may do okay with cat-savvy dog pending a slow, proper introduction.
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history, likely okay with kids of all ages.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Not required! Vacation Vicky has a strong desire to explore the outdoors and may enjoy outdoor time in a responsible, supervised setting.
-History of Litter Box Issues: Occasionally, likely due to stress and change. She is looking for an adopter who is patient with her. She has shown much progress here at the shelter and we believe in the right environment she will be successful.
-Energy Level: High, busy-body!
-Bite History: No.
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Spay & Microchip provided by WHS.
Additional Information:
Vacation Vicky (Her friends call her "Vivi" for short!) is a young mom who arrived at the shelter as a stray, dropped off her kids, packed her bags, and is ready to find her forever luxury resort! This foodie is searching for fine dining, room service, and 5 star rated restaurants. She spent some time in a foster home where she showed her true desire to explore nature. Vivi may enjoy being an indoor/outdoor cat in a responsible setting. She is the purrfect mix of independence and affection!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
