Tweety's Story

We think Tweety was born around July 21, 2026. He came into care at about three months old and is still figuring out this whole living-with-people thing, but he is making steady progress.

Tweety is a quiet, gentle kitten who loves sitting at the window and keeping watch on the squirrels and everything else happening outside. He is still nervous around people, but once he realizes pets are being offered, his cautious side starts to disappear. He rolls around happily for attention, purrs away, and will even give his foster a few appreciative licks.

He enjoys playing but tends to have a softer, gentler approach to things. Loud noises, sudden movements and a busy household would likely be overwhelming for him, so Tweety would be happiest in a calm home without dogs or young children, and with someone willing to give him the time he needs to feel secure.

He is still learning and gaining confidence, but he is already showing what a sweet and affectionate little cat he can be. Tweety would love to be adopted with his brother Sylvester if possible.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
