Tweety's Story

Meet Tweety. Tweety is a fun cat who LOVES to play; her favorite toys are mice. Tweety will pounce on them, jump into the air, and then sprint around the house. She loves to run laps around her foster family's kitchen island. Tweety was shy and hid a lot at first, but is coming out of her shell. She is getting more and more comfortable with being picked up--she has even become a lap cat.

Her favorite person is her foster family's 11 yo daughter. Tweety rubs all over her legs and follows her around the house when she gets home from school. Tweety likes to be where her people are. Her Foster mom reports that whenever the baby is fed, Tweety is always right there too!

Tweety would be best either in a home with another playful cat or as the solo pet. We’re not sure how she does with dogs. Tweety enjoys sleeping in soft chairs or in her cat tree. She is litter box trained, but requires either a covered litter box or one with high sides as she likes to send litter flying.

Learn more about Tweety, The Feline Connection, and apply to adopt on The Feline Connection’s website: www.thefelineconnection.org/cats-seeking-homes/
_____________________
--ABOUT THE FELINE CONNECTION---
The Feline Connection 501(c)(3) is a foster-driven cat rescue in the Rutland, VT area. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy
The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match. Pictures of the cat’s new home are always welcome. Visit us at http://www.thefelineconnection.org/ for more details
