Tutu (and Munch)'s Story
Tutu is a quiet, curious princess girl who believes in presence over pressure.
She’s not here to demand constant attention — she just wants to be near her people, supervising your life from a chair, windowsill, or directly in the middle of whatever you’re doing. Cooking dinner? She’s there. Moving rooms? She’ll relocate accordingly. Personal space? Never heard of it, but respectfully.
She’s not a full-time lap cat, but don’t be fooled — Tutu has her moments. Especially if there’s a blanket involved. Give her something soft and she’ll burrito herself in it, usually with just her tiny face poking out like a very cozy little gremlin. When she’s not perfecting her lounging technique, Tutu enjoys playtime — particularly anything she can stalk dramatically before pouncing. Wand toys are a favorite, and she will show off her hunting skills when the mood strikes. She’s friendly with new people, though she likes a minute to assess the situation (as she should). Once she’s decided you’re acceptable, she’s happy to hang out nearby and soak in the vibes.

Tutu is part of a bonded pair with Munch. They balance each other perfectly—bringing playful energy, sweet companionship, and just the right amount of “we’ll supervise whatever you’re doing.” They love to wrestle, chase, and entertain each other. Together, they’re the kind of duo that makes a house feel full in the best way.

If you would like to discuss meeting and possibly adopting Tutu and Munch, email: info@chicagocatrescue.org. No texts please.

CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our respective Chicago foster families. Most of our foster families reside on the north side of the city. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care.

Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, foster@chicagocatrescue.org.
