Turtle's Story

Turtle came to us scared and unsure of the world, and she's found her safest place in the most unexpected spot--the very tippy top of the cat tree! From her high perch, she can quietly observe everything around her while feeling secure. She's not quite ready to come down just yet, but that's okay--Turtle is moving at her own pace, and we're letting her lead the way.

Right now, she's a very shy girl who needs a calm, patient home that will give her the time and space to build trust. She may never be the bold, in-your-lap type, but with kindness and understanding, Turtle will slowly learn that people can be gentle and safe. She's a quiet observer with a soft spirit, just waiting for the right person to help her feel comfortable enough to come out of her shell--one small step at a time.More information?
