Turnip's Story

He also was seen doing the same thing by someone else that came to check it out. We still do not know why he was crying so much, but he was taken out of there since he seemed to be calling for help and it was really sad to see and hear. The manager said they had been seeing him for awhile there, but employees were not allowed to feed him.
A rescuer/trapper went to check him out and he gobbled up any food put out. When a trap was put out he immediately went in it, almost as if to say "Get me out of here."
Turnip was taken to the vet and checked out just fine, except for being thin. He is FIV+, but that does not mean much as far as his health and life ahead.
Turnip loves to sit at the top of a cat tree, and he is tolerant of other cats and people. He just isn't driven to interact with either one! He does seem to enjoy some head rubs, but not for too long.
Turnip needs a home where he can love and be loved from afar, at least at the beginning. He is very low maintenance, but so happy to not be sitting alone in a parking lot, hungry and lonely.
If you are interested in learning more about Turnip, please email helping.kitties@yahoo.com.

I
