Turkey Leg's Story

Turkey Leg was surrendered to HSSB when her owners couldn't afford surgery for a broken femur she mysteriously ended up with outside.
Her leg was broken Thanksgiving and amputated December 1st. Shes healed well and is getting around well, but would still like a low entry litter box for now. She is just beginning to start climbing, and would love a cat tree by a window to watch birds.
Shes now looking for a quiet, indoor only home with plenty of chin scratches, churus, and patience.
She really enjoys being scratched on her chin and chest, and rolling around on soft blankets, but so far has not been a lap cat. She seems hesitant to jump up on beds or couches, perhaps from healing, perhaps from never being allowed to. She enjoys exploring her space when its quiet and still, and appreciates having a safe space to go to when its loud.
Come give her a churu quietly Wednesday through Sunday noon to 3, Saturday noon to 4.
