Tuna's Story

Meet Tuna, the sweetest calico girl, rescued from an abandoned building in Crown Heights. She's an affectionate, very sweet cat who enjoys playtime and her "sushi" catnip toy. She loves to curl up in the sun on a soft blanket and she's clearly very happy to be inside after her time struggling outdoors. Tuna is content being a solo kitty in a home with a loving adopter(s), as she really appreciates being petted, is a purring machine, and likes to curl up next to you, especially at night.

Tuna loves to eat her Bonita flakes and can only eat wet food as our sweet girl has lost most of her teeth. Her battle scars from the street are clear on her face, and she deserves to be loved in a wonderful home. She has not only survived, our little girl is thriving and ready for a furrever home!

Tuna is about 5 years old and healthy, spayed, FIV-/FELV-, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and treated for fleas and parasites.

If you're interested in meeting Tuna, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Tuna and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form!

Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
