Tucker's Story
As a community cat, Tucker underwent a TNR (trap, neuter, release) procedure from someone educated enough to recognize the importance of altering ferals. He subsequently became domesticated (which can sometimes happen). He attempted to find a family by approaching several neighborhood homes daily but he was met with repeated rejection, forcing him to fend for himself without proper care, food or shelter. A request was made for rescue and when there was an opening, he made the "cut".
Since joining the rescue, he has gained weight and developed a strong affinity for indoor living (he never looks to go out). Tucker's friendly demeanor facilitated a smooth transition to living with other cats, which occurred over a period of just three days. He can have itchy skin at times but he's only had to get 1 steroid shot. With a devoted owner, there may be a higher end food that will give him some relief from his mild allergies. A resident of the development did sponsor his complete vetting at Southern Trails.
https://bit.ly/fofadoptionapplication
