Meet Tuck, a gentle soul hoping his person is out there. <br/><br/>Tuck is a 7.5-year-old tuxedo boy who has recently arrived at Homeward Bound after his family made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender him into our care.<br/><br/>We first shared Tuck's story months ago as a courtesy post. Now, he's officially a Homeward Bound resident-and he's available for adoption. <br/><br/>Tuck isn't your typical "perfect cat" story. He's a sensitive guy who gets overwhelmed by noise, activity, and too much going on around him. In his previous home, living with young children and another cat became increasingly stressful for him.<br/><br/>But underneath that anxiety is a VERY sweet boy. <br/><br/> Tuck loves to cuddle<br/> He kneads soft blankets like a professional<br/> He enjoys ribbons, lasers, and toys<br/> He rubs against his people for affection<br/> He wants to be near the person he trusts<br/><br/>Tuck is easily startled, and when he's anxious, he can struggle with tail biting. His tail is currently healing, and we're continuing to care for him and monitor his progress.<br/><br/>What Tuck really needs is peace.<br/><br/> A quiet, low-traffic home<br/> Ideally, a person or couple<br/> Preferably no other pets<br/> Cozy places to hide, relax, and decompress<br/> Someone patient who understands that trust takes time<br/><br/>We know Tuck may not be the cat who walks into a room and immediately charms everyone.<br/><br/>He may be the cat who needs someone to see past the nerves and recognize the sweet boy underneath.<br/><br/>He doesn't need a perfect home.<br/><br/>He needs a peaceful one.<br/><br/>And maybe... just maybe... he needs you. <br/><br/> Tuck is now at Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions and available for adoption.<br/><br/>If you think Tuck might be your guy, come meet him and give him the chance to show you who he really is.
