Tuck (and Tasha)'s Story

Hi, I'm Tuck!

I'm a big guy with an even bigger heart, and I've been waiting patiently for my moment — and I think it might finally be here.

I was born in 2017, and life was good until May of 2025, when my sister Tasha and I found ourselves abandoned and facing an uncertain future. We've been side by side ever since, sharing a cage in an overcrowded shelter where, if I'm being honest, it's been far too easy for a couple of laid-back cats like us to get overlooked. We're not the ones climbing the walls or demanding attention — we're the quiet, steady ones. The ones who are easy to miss but impossible not to love once you notice us.

That's why we've made the move to rescue. A fresh start, a little more visibility, and hopefully — finally — a forever home.

Now, I'm a pretty easygoing guy. You'll find me scoping out the coziest corner in the room, keeping a watchful eye on the goings-on around me, or simply lounging like the distinguished older gentleman I am. If you could find it in your heart to take both Tasha and me? That would be the dream. We're a team, she and I, and there's something special about having your person and your sister under the same roof.

I'd thrive in a calm, quiet home with older kids or adults who appreciate a mellow, low-drama companion. Give me warm spots to curl up in, a little love and attention, and my sister by my side — and I will be the most contented cat you've ever met.

All we need is someone to finally stop and say — these are the ones. Could that be you?

--
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age. If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application
