Truffle's Story
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Truffle, a professional cuddlebug and cutie pie of a kitten. This 3 month old girl is ready to steal your heart!

This little void has the tiniest dot of white on her chest and black everywhere else. She will stare into your soul and melt your heart away with her curious orange eyes. When shes not busy winning your heart over, she loves chasing wand toys, napping on humans laps and expressing her contentment with lots of purrs. Truffle operates in primarily two modes: playing and napping, both of which she takes very seriously. She enjoys both human and cat company and would make a great companion for another cat.

She was rescued near a busy road and is still learning the ins and outs of housecat life. In only a few weeks,Truffle has flourished into a brave, rambunctious gal, a far cry from the frightened kitten she was when she arrived in foster care. That being said, indoor life can be kind of scary (laundry machines, showers, humans running around, ack!!), and she can be frightened easily. But dont let her shyness deter you- Truffle becomes her bravest self in the presence of tube treats and a nice lap to purr on.

What Truffles looking for in a home:

- She is new to indoor life with humans, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make her nervous.
- She can get nervous, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her feel comfortable with new experiences.
- She will need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- She needs an already established resident feline friend close to her age to play with and model good cat manners.
- She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- She needs to live indoors only.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in adopting Truffle! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt her by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Local Seattle applicants only, please.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
