Trudy [courtesy post]'s Story

Trudy is a calico cat like her mother, one of four kittens born outside as a community cat in April. After 11 weeks playing in a very roomy backyard, Trudy was brought inside with her two brothers; her sister Leona had gone missing but later returned and rejoined them indoors.

Trudy is a small, lithe, and incredibly athletic young cat with the heart of an adventurer. She loves to play, climb, and show off her impressive jumping skills—there’s no perch too high for this little acrobat! If there’s a toy around, Trudy will find it and turn it into a game.

Once she gets to know you, Trudy becomes wonderfully affectionate and people-oriented. She may be a bit unsure around unfamiliar cats at first, but with time and patience she can settle in alongside them. She’s also exceptionally easy to handle: Trudy is carrier-trained, rides quietly in the car, and cooperates well with the vet.

She responds to her name, adores exploring cozy enclosed spaces, and delights in every kind of cat toy you can offer.

If you’re looking for a playful, intelligent, and affectionate companion with a touch of athletic flair, Trudy might be the perfect fit!

She is one of four kittens in a litter born in a this fosters backyard last April. Consider adopting a pair of kittens, as a kitten with a buddy will improve their lives in the long run, while also making your life easier. Contrary to popular belief, two kittens are actually half the work of one!

Trudy is spayed, microchipped, and has all her services up to date (rabies & fvrcp vaccines, and tested FELV/FIV), so she is ready for her forever home.

Trudy's adoption will not be affiliated with SCFOA, but will go through her foster home directly. Please contact Martin, rubio_loco@usa.net, for more information and to schedule a meet n greet with Trudy and her siblings.
