Troubles's Story

Meet Troubles: an endearing guy with a heart full of curiosity and an irresistible, playful spirit.

Troubles originally arrived at the shelter with his brother Tippy, but now that Tippy has been happily adopted, Troubles is eagerly waiting for his own big moment! He is a true social gem who loves to explore, bat at toys, score treats, and soak up unlimited attention. Because he is so companionable, hed thrive best in a home that already has at least one other feline friend for him to play with.

While he was a bit shy at first, Troubles has completely blossomed out of his shell, revealing a charismatic and joyful personality to anyone who approaches him with kindness. He does have one special requirement: he is currently on a special diet to manage urinary crystals. With the guidance of a caring vet, there's a possibility he could eventually transition off it once he's relaxed in a stable home environment, but for now, he is proudly rocking the "special needs" badge.

The Quick Stats:

DOB: Approx. 01/17/2022

Ready to Go: Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Health Note: Special urinary diet required.

Animal Compatibility: Great with other cats (having a feline buddy in the home is recommended).

Don't miss the chance to bring Troubles' vibrant, resilient spirit into your life. Bellwether Harbor's Adoption Policy
Bellwether Harbor does not do same day adoptions. Please keep in mind multiple visits to the shelter may be required. This number is determined various factors including the potential adopter’s experience and the training level/potential behavior issues of the animal. If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat, please fill out an application on the shelter website. After the application has been received, the Adoption Coordinator will conduct a landlord check and vet check (where applicable). If approved, applicants are contacted for a phone interview, after which an appointment may be set up to meet the animal. Please note: Applying for an animal does not guarantee adoption of said animal. Adoptions are approved based on a variety of factors. We do our best to match animals with the best homes, not the first homes. It is possible that adoption of a specific animal will be denied even if the application is approved. For more information on the adoption process, please visit http://www.bellwetherharbor.org/adoptions/the-process/
