Trixie's Story
Trixie is our little whirlwind. This girl is always on the move and getting into some mischief. Running, jumping, climbing, you name it. She is extremely playful and extremely social with people. She will jump right on your shoulder and she loves to meow/talk to her people.

Trixie was brought to us as the only kitten left in her litter and as a result she has developed a bit of single kitten syndrome. She tends to play rough with humans, so we think a confident, playful cat in the home to teach her some manners would be great for her.

If you’re interested in adopting a kitten, you MUST have a vet. Kittens will require additional vetting. We strongly recommend adopting kittens in pairs or into a home with another playful cat, dog, or children. Single kittens may develop undesirable behaviors.

Please contact staff at (401) 294-2754, email animalshelter@exeterri.gov, or visit Exeter Animal Shelter for more information on our adoption process. Please do NOT apply through Petfinder.
