Trix's Story

Meet Trix - short for “Tricky Tuxedo”! This guy gave the volunteers of Furever Home Animal Rescue a figurative run for their money when they tried for several weeks to bring him inside from his outdoor lifestyle. A neighborhood favorite, we don’t know his story or why he was living outside, but we knew once we got him inside, he was meant for indoor life. Trix is now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (with one more round of his FVRCP coming soon), and ready to be your BFF!

The spay/neuter clinic tipped Mr. Trix’s ear when we thought he might be a “Return to Field” candidate, but we think it adds character especially juxtaposed with his plaid bow tie collar. This dapper gentleman is friendly, content to do his own thing and gaze out the window, or follow you around the house and dance between your ankles for pets. Trix LOVES his head and neck to be pet and scratched but doesn’t seem to be a big fan of his back or tail being touched. He tolerated a bath and brushing very well!
