Tripper's Story

Tripper is a handsome male Domestic Short Hair with a gentle heart and a love for people. Estimated to be between 1 and 3 years old, this sweet boy is well-mannered, affectionate, and always happy to soak up attention from staff and volunteers. Whether he's snuggled up beside you or greeting you with a friendly purr, Tripper is sure to make himself right at home. Tripper came to the shelter after the other cats in his previous home weren't very kind to him. His former owner reported that he handled himself well and still tried to remain peaceful with the others, so he may do fine with feline friends who are willing to give him a chance. He is litter-box trained and has quickly become a staff favorite thanks to his loving personality and easygoing nature. We are unsure how he does with dogs or small children. To schedule a time to meet Tripper, please call (419) 294-4477 ext. 3 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

WCHS Adoptions are a 2-Step Process

Step 1— Visit our shelter! (Prospective adopters may be shown multiple animals, subject to availability.)

Step 2— Pick up your new pet!
Pickups are generally 3-5 business days after completing adoption paperwork at your in-person appointment. This allows HOPE Clinic time to prep your new pet for their forever home, including spay/neuter surgery (if not already fixed), a microchip, vaccines, and other care depending on the species. Once the animal is ready, we'll call you to coordinate pickup! (Pickup times are generally in the evenings.)
