Trinket's Story

If you're looking for a kitten with a little extra flair, Trinket would like to introduce herself! This adorable black and white girl has the cutest little white chin and whiskers that seem to be longer than the length of a football field! Okay, maybe we're exaggerating just a tiny bit. But seriously, those whiskers are spectacular! Trinket and her siblings, Button, Thimble, and Marble, were born in the garage of a Good Samaritan who noticed their mom and made sure the little family had food and care. Once the kittens were old enough to be safely secured, they came into the care of a local grassroots rescue. Momma was a little too zesty for indoor life, so she was spayed and returned to her community, where the Good Samaritan continues to provide food and care for her. Trinket arrived at the shelter at the start of July and since then, she has received lots of TLC including time in one of our loving foster homes, where she was handled, loved, and socialized. Her foster experience gave her the chance to grow comfortable with people and discover just how wonderful human companionship can be. Since arriving, she has been: Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Treated for ear mites Treated for a common upper respiratory infection And now? Trinket is ready for her forever home! She is a friendly, sweet girl with a face that is impossible not to love. Between that precious white chin, those dramatic whiskers, and her beautiful black and white coat, Trinket is one of a kind. If you're searching for a friendly kitten with an unforgettable face and whiskers that deserve their own zip code, look no further. Trinket is ready to be someone's very special little treasure. Could you be the lucky person who gets to love her forever? The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. Adopting an animal is an important decision that will affect you, your household, and the animal for many years to come. Our primary goal is to place animals in a loving and forever home. We strive for the best possible match between you and your new pet. If you do not find the right animal on your first visit to our shelter, please return another day when new animals will be available for adoption. We include as much information as we know about an animal on their information card. We are here to help make a wonderful new addition to your family. Adoption Requirements • Must be 18 years of age or older (seniors 65 and over qualify for the Seniors for Seniors program) • Must have valid ID with current address • Must provide landlord’s name and phone number (or copy of current lease) • All members of the household should be present • You must understand that Berea Animal Rescue must approve your adoption application If this is your first visit, please follow this link, bit.ly/ARFWaiver, to provide us with your household’s information and sign our Animal Contact Waiver. Fees The shelter accepts cash or Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. *If paying in cash, please understand that volunteers are unable to make change. CAT ADOPTION INFORMATION Senior cats (7 years and older): $65.00 Cats (7 months – 6 years) – $100.00 Kittens (less than 7 months) – $140.00 Special breed pricing — $200 Cardboard carriers available – $5.00 *Certain animals may carry fees that are higher or lower than indicated here based on special circumstances.
