Tribble and Trouble's Story
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder

Meet Tribble and Trouble, a bonded pair of juvenile sisters! They are approximately 8 months old.

Tribble is a medium haired, Russian blue colored cat. She has a purr so loud that when people say an engine purrs like a kitten, they are specifically referring to Tribble. Its easy to fall in love with her when she rolls over asking for belly rubs. Shes started enjoying lap time as well. One of her favorite games is hunting pieces of kibble that I throw, especially if its thrown into a box where she can corner it. Its fun to see how excited she gets!

Trouble, a short haired tabby, is a definite lap cat, but so far is a firm no on belly rubs. She began as the more timid of the two, but has become much more brave and inquisitive over the last few months. They were taught by their feral mother that hiding keeps them safe, but theyve come so far from the terrified babies that they were. They even start purring as soon as I walk in the door most days, which makes me very proud of the trust theyve learned.

Both girls are still shy, especially around new noises. They are currently in a room of their own and would benefit from more casual human hangout time. It may take them longer to settle in to their new home, so any potential adopter will need to be prepared to accommodate that by keeping them in their transition space a little longer or giving them more quiet time. Basically they need to be around humans who can do boring human things for a few weeks until they settle in. Trouble has actually been exploring the hallway outside her room lately, which is a good sign that new places are of interest, especially if they find new toys to play with!

Together, they make an adorable pair, constantly cuddling and grooming each other. They love eating Churu and playing with Da Bird. They both try to run off with teaser toys in their mouths, constantly surprised when the toy wont come with them because Im holding the wand end. Plus, they are so soft! You will not want to stop petting them. They will be a wonderful addition to their adopters family. And no need to worry about The Trouble with Tribbles as they are already spayed!

What Tribble and Trouble are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They can get nervous, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have no known history with other cats.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Tribble and Trouble! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://bit.ly/ACPAdoptionForm

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response.
