Toro's Story

**Toro & Zorro: A Bonded Pair**
Named after Zorro's trusty steed (short for Tornado!), Toro is the bold, chatty sidekick, and his brother Zorro is the cool, collected hero keeping him steady. These two are a package deal, and once you meet them, you'll see why. (Zorro will probably be hiding somewhere).

**Meet Toro**
Toro is an outgoing, snuggly boy who isn't shy about telling you what he wants. He has the most adorable little "meow" that he uses just enough to get his point across: polite, but persuasive!
His foster mom calls him her "little heater" because he loves nothing more than curling up right beside her at bedtime. Planning a cozy night in with a good book? Toro will perch right on your shoulder and read along until he drifts off to sleep.

He is a friendly guy, but he likes to greet new furry friends with a hiss or two, just to let them know who's who. There's no real aggression behind it (so far, anyway) and he's always warmed up to them pretty quickly.

At first glance, Toro is a sleek all-black kitty, but catch him in the sunshine and you'll see his secret: faint tabby stripes peeking through, like he really tried to be a brown tabby and almost pulled it off. Add those gorgeous green eyes, and this boy is a stunner. He's super soft and sleek, almost like a bunny.

**Meet Zorro**
Zorro is a "cat's cat." He's bashful and happy to do things on his own terms, but he has one very important job: being Toro's emotional support brother. The one thing Toro can't stand is being alone, and without a buddy nearby he'll cry his little heart out. With Zorro by his side, Toro is his confident, happy self. Zorro keeps the calm; Toro brings the cuddles.

Zorro's happy to hang out near his humans, but get a little too close and... poof, he's outta there! He is warming up at his own (very, very slow) pace, and he'd likely blossom in a calm, quiet home where he can take his time.

Together, the brothers are confident around other cats and even live happily with two big foster dogs! They're litter box trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready to gallop into your heart, side by side.

Anyone who adopts is required to complete an adoption application. After we have confirmed their personal animals are well cared for and they have no criminal past, we set them up to meet the kitten. If the kitten and the potential adopter are a match we complete a home visit. The home visit reviews our policy and we make sure the home is prepared and safe for the cat. The adopter then signs a contract and pays fee. The adopter can then arrange for pickup.
