Tootsie's Story

Tootsie Roll is the definition of carefree and happy-go-lucky. This girl is constantly on the move zooming, exploring, and filling the room with the sweetest little chirps and happy noises. She is unfazed by anything and everything. She brings a lightness wherever she goes, truly is one of the most cheerful kittens we’ve ever met.

She’s the kind of kitten who will thrive in just about any loving home. Whether it’s a busy family or a quieter space, Tootsie will fit right in and make it brighter.

And just like her name suggests… when she’s happy, she ROLLS. The second you give her attention, she flops over into the cutest little body roll and proudly shows off her belly. It’s her signature move, and it’s impossible not to smile when you see it.

Tootsie is FIV+, which stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. This simply means her immune system can be a bit weaker than other cats. However, many FIV+ cats live long, happy, completely normal lives, especially when kept indoors and given routine vet care. It’s also important to know that FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, so it does not spread through casual contact like sharing food bowls, grooming, or cuddling. Cats who are FIV+ can live completely intermingled with FIV- cats.

The only thing you might notice is that she’s a little on the smaller side, which just makes her that much more adorable.

Apply on our website NEPApetrescue.com
