Tootie's Story

Meet Tootie!

Name: Tootie
Breed: Unknown (but 100% sassy)
Age: Born in October 2025
Likes: Shoes (they’re her favorite plaything), cuddling up in cozy spots, and hanging out with the older cats.
Dislikes: Being underestimated (she’s definitely the boss around here), loud noises, and any attempt to steal her toys.

Personality: Tootie is a tiny kitten with a huge personality. She’s full of confidence and always ready for an adventure, whether it’s playing with shoes or trying to impress the bigger cats with her “big and bad” moves. Watch out—she has a signature move where she puffs up her tail and runs sideways like a little ninja, acting like she’s in charge of the whole house. When the day winds down, though, Tootie loves nothing more than curling up for a cuddle, purring contentedly in your lap.

Fun Fact: Tootie thinks she’s a fierce lion, but she’s still learning the art of pouncing. It’s adorable to watch her try, especially when she tries to sneak up on her much bigger friends…who usually let her think she’s winning.

Because Tootie is so young, she will need to be adopted alongside another kitten or have another young feline friend awaiting her in her new home.

--
Tootie is not yet spayed but she will be spayed and microchipped as part of the adoption fee.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Tootie, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

The Rescue Pack's Adoption Policy
If interested in one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website. The application will then be reviewed by our applications team and passed on to the foster of the animal that was applied for. The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. Once payment has been received, our adoption contract will be sent along with vet records. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
