Toodles's Story
Meet Toodles – The Comeback Queen Who Just Wants to Be Loved

Toodles has had quite the journey, and we’re so glad she’s safe and back in our care. She just turned 4 years old on March 30th, and while her path has been a little rocky, her future is looking bright.

Originally a stray brought in by JPAWS, she was adopted through us at Petco in July 2021. We thought her story had a happy ending—but fate (and maybe a little feline mystery) had other plans.

Recently, Toodles was found outside the new ARNO location. One of our team members got involved, thinking it was a TNR case, but noticed something unusual: Toodles never hissed, even in the trap. She was sweet, calm, and clearly not your average feral. So, we scanned her—and sure enough, she had a microchip.

A call to her adopter revealed that he’d moved out of state after a breakup, and his ex kept the cats. He said Toodles was often the odd one out in the group, and sadly, he lost contact and had no idea what happened to her. We did a little sleuthing (yes, we social media stalked), and the ex still has Toodles in her cover photo—so how this sweet girl ended up outside remains a mystery.

But what matters now is this: Toodles is safe, and she is ready to write her next chapter. She’s absolutely stunning (just check out her glam shots by Auntie Beth!) and even more beautiful on the inside. She craves attention—she will not let you walk past her cage without demanding love and pets. She’s vocal, affectionate, and clearly making up for lost time.

Toodles deserves a forever home where she’ll never be the odd cat out again—where she’ll be someone’s one and only, or part of a kind-hearted crew who sees her for the gem she is.

Could you be the one to give Toodles the love story she’s been waiting for?

If you'd like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.).

Adoption Fee is $75.00. All cats are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.

Adoption Application: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qm8jhwrw40m7d3k/JSPCA%20Application_2.0.pdf?dl=0

All adoptions subject to approval.
