Tony the Tiger's Story

Meet Tony the Tiger!

Tony is an approximately one-year-old, short-haired orange tabby looking for a patient and loving forever home.

Although Tony has only been with our rescue for a short time, he has already made wonderful progress. Since arriving, he has been neutered and is becoming more comfortable with indoor life every single day.

Tony is a handsome boy with a gentle soul. He's still learning to trust people and adjust to living indoors, but he has shown us just how much potential he has. When Tony feels overwhelmed, he simply chooses to retreat to a safe space or climb to one of his favorite perches. He has never shown aggressive behaviorhe just needs a little time and understanding while he learns that he's finally safe.

Tony tends to feel more comfortable around women and responds best to calm voices, gentle movements, and a quiet environment. With patience and consistency, we're confident he'll continue to blossom into an affectionate and loyal companion.

Tony is looking for an indoor-only home with someone who understands that trust takes time. We encourage potential adopters to read about the 3-3-3 Rule for rescue pets, as it perfectly describes the adjustment period Tony will likely need. Giving him the time and space to settle in will allow his true personality to shine.

If you believe you could be the special person to give Tony the second chance he deserves, we'd love to hear from you. Your patience could change his life forever.

Please email us at marmaladecatrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application
