Meet Tonka, talk about good looking! is a panther kitty with bright gold eyes who made his way here from a shelter on the east side of the state. He and multiple other kitties arrived here due to shelter overcrowding. Sadly, that is the case for many shelters and rescues at this time.<br/><br/>Tonka is an actual sweetheart even though his name indicates tough. He wants pets and responds appreciatively when given. He may not be a "look at me" type personality kitty but he knows his worth and that the right adopter will see his gentle, friendly self. He has a curious and adventuresome side, exploring his room. He is eager for pets and will come back again and again and often give a little squeak. He may also give you a polite head butt so you don't stop. Those gold eyes will get you every time!<br/><br/>Tonka gets along with other cats so could be part of a friendly, non-aggressive multi-cat household.
