While she may greet new situations with a few cautious hisses, dont let that fool you — Tonka truly enjoys attention, loves her pets, and will happily follow you around once she feels comfortable.<br/><br/>She has a playful side and especially loves spending time with her best friend Lucy. Tonka enjoys both wet and dry food and, like any deserving girl, absolutely loves her treats.<br/><br/>With a little patience and understanding, Tonkas affectionate nature quickly shines through. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.<br/><br/>All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
