Tommy — The Sweetest Little Bear Face <br/><br/>Meet Tommy, a very special boy who has come such a long way. <br/>Tommy was the oldest cat in the colony we worked on last year. He was originally part of our TNR program, but after he was neutered, I quickly realized something very important...<br/>Tommy wasn't meant to live outside. <br/><br/>He was friendly, wanted affection, and clearly had a desire to be socialized. So instead of returning him to the colony, we gave him the chance to discover what indoor life was all about.<br/><br/>And look at him now! <br/>Tommy has the funniest, sweetest little face — a round face, round eyes, and an adorable little bear-like expression. His personality is just as lovable.<br/><br/>He absolutely LOVES other cats and is very playful! He runs through tunnels, races up and down the stairs, and plays with his feline friends. He currently resides with Hunter and Jimmi and does wonderfully with them.<br/>Tommy is also quite the character. <br/>He is very food motivated and happily accepts treats. He loves watching birds from the window, follows what's happening around him, and is incredibly curious.<br/>And his favourite entertainment?<br/>The Roomba! <br/>Tommy will actually set it off and then follow it around!<br/>He comes when called and knows his name. <br/><br/>Tommy can still get a little spooked at times, but every single day he becomes more confident. He now happily accepts pets on his head, neck, ears and back — right down toward his tail.<br/>Sometimes he gets so excited that he shows me his belly... but I haven't dared touch that belly yet! Maybe with time!<br/><br/>He also LOVES being brushed, and his fur is unbelievably soft and beautiful. We like to think his sardines twice a week and eggs are helping with that gorgeous coat! <br/><br/>Tommy is a quiet boy who enjoys simply hanging around, observing his surroundings and being near his people. A cat can therefore leave our care appearing completely healthy and develop an illness several days after adoption.
