Tom Tom (Bonded with Rita)'s Story

Tom Tom is a gentle 10-year-old Domestic Shorthair who is looking for a calm, comfortable place to spend his golden years. He has some neuro and mobility concerns noted, and would do best in a home that understands he may move a little differently and appreciate life at a slower pace.
He is on the shy and timid side, and hasn't had a lot of socialization, so new environments and people can feel overwhelming for him at first. With patience and consistency, he should start to settle in and show his quiet, soft personality underneath.
Tom Tom isn't the kind of cat who will demand attention, but he does want comfort, safety, and a predictable routine. He would thrive in a low-traffic home where he can relax, observe, and simply be cared for without pressure.
If you're looking for a low-key companion who just needs a soft landing and a kind place to land for his later years, Tom Tom may be the perfect gentle soul.

Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can click on "More About Us" to the right and then click on "Adoption Application" button which will take you to our website where you can actually apply. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for FeLV/FIV. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.
