What is Healing Hearts Animal Rescue’s adoption process?

Please do not call us about adopting or surrendering a cat! Phone calls are unlikely to be answered or returned. Our director works full-time and cannot answer the phone when she is with clients. If you are interested in adopting a cat, please contact us by text message or email. You will be required to answer the screening questions first. Once you are approved, you can either go and meet your cat at PetSmart or schedule an appointment to meet the cat in the foster home if it is not ready to go yet. The adoption forms and contract can be completed either when you visit the cat in the foster home or when you meet the cat at PetSmart. You can also save time by completing the adoption application online at the link below. It should work on any device. Please make sure to list the name of the cat you are applying for. If you do not list the name of the cat, then your application cannot be processed. Completed online adoption applications are given priority. We typically respond to adoption inquiries within one hour so please watch your email or text messages for a response. Adoption fees: $150 for kittens and special breeds. $125 for friendly young adults $100 for senior cats and super shy cats.
