After three months in foster care, Toby has officially traded his street smarts for indoor snuggles. With his striking light green eyes and fur so very soft you have to feel it to believe it, he’s truly a "premium" cat! <br/><br/>The way to his heart is through his stomach! Coming from the streets, Toby is highly food-motivated, which makes training and bonding with him easy. Within just a month, he went from a cautious observer to a loyal cat sleeping at his foster's feet. He’s already a pro at the basics: he was immediately litterbox trained and requires low-maintenance grooming. He barely shed this winter and keeps himself neat even as the weather warms. <br/><br/>While he isn't quite a lap cat yet, Toby loves to be in the same room as his people. He’s the perfect companion for someone who works from home a few days a week or has another animal for him to play with. He has a bit of FOMO so if you’re home, he wants to be near you. He's a high-energy guy who loves a routine, most playful in the mornings when he’ll show off his hunting skills with feather wands or anything that jingles. His "activation noises" are truly his most endearing trait; he has THE most precious collection of chirps and trills whenever he’s excited and feeling safe!
