Toby's Story

Toby walked right up to the front door and demanded to be saved right before a big storm. He came right up to the door and scratched at it and would not take no for an answer. Luckily an Illinois Animal Rescue person worked there and hid him in the bathroom for the rest of the work day. She always had cat food in her car and the warehouse always had litter so he was set for the day. <br/><br/>Not sure where he was before but he is a lover. Sweet and talkative and wants to be held and played with. He's going to be a big boy judging by his appetite and the size of those back paws.<br/><br/>Please give this poor little guy a home. He had a rough start in life but all he wants is a family to love him so much!

Some of our adoptable pets are located throughout Illinois in foster homes. Some are still awaiting rescue and adoption in facilites where they most likely, will be scheduled to be euthanized. If you are interested in 'Rescuing' and adopting one of these pets, please fill out an adoption application here or contact: info@illinoisanimalrescueinc.org to receive an adoption application via e-mail. An adoption coordinator will then review your application and contact you within 24 hours.   Illinois Animal Rescue is foster based only, but we are at adoption events nearly every weekend.
