Toast's Story

Available 07/28/2026 This is Toast! He is almost 4 years old and the sweetest boy. He loves being pet and cuddled and being with people, but is nervous in new places. He has been around both young children and babies before and done well in the past. He ideally would be in an single cat home, but he might be okay with a long introduction period if there are other cats. In his previous home there were other cats and they ended up fighting. From what we have seen here it needs to be a home with no dogs or possibly very small dogs. He loves string toys and seems to like the occasional treat from what we have seen here. He is pretty big kitty, but he needs a good calm home at least in the begging to warm up to people. He does like to hide, but will come out once he feels safe. If you have questions or would like to meet him come into the shelter!
