Tiri's Story
Introducing Tiri. This incredibly handsome boy is from our Greek foods litter; his name means cheese. He is a very fluffy, sweet and sensitive grey boy who is ready to find his forever home.

Tiri was born in one of our foster homes and has been handled since he was tiny. Although he's a friendly boy who loves attention, he can be a little bit sensitive to change. He isn't a bit fan of loud noises or fast movements, but he recovers fairly quickly after scary things come his way. Tiri enjoys playing as any kitten does, but he is also a great cuddler. Of all of the kittens in his litter, he and his sister Pita, are the two that are always seeking out their foster mom's lap.

Thus far, Tiri has no experience with dogs, although he may learn to live with one if it's quiet and calm. Since he can be a bit sensitive, he wont be happy in a home with a loud or hyper dog, or with children. Tiri's ideal home will be with an older, quiet person or couple who lives a laid-back lifestyle.

It will be important for Tiri to have a feline friend of his own. If his family already has a cat, he will do well with one that would like to play with him, but also one that wants to cuddle. Tiri is not a 'rough and tumble' kind of guy. He does like to run around and expend his kitten energy so he might be too much for a very senior cat. If his new family doesn't already have another cat, Tiri would be happy to be adopted with one of his siblings.

Since this boy has a very lovely, fluffy coat, he will need a family that is willing to groom him regularly. Regular brushing will help to prevent mats, which his fine coat will be prone to.

If you'd like to apply to adopt Tiri and/or his siblings, please visit https://victoriapets.ca/adoption-process/ for a copy of our online adoption application and for information regarding our adoption process and fees. Please note that Tiri and his siblings will only be adopted in the Greater Victoria area (Saanich Peninsula and south of the Malahat.)
