Tire Iron Terry's Story
Everybody say hello to Tire Iron Terry!

Terry is a roughly 5-month-old little dude who has already given us one of the biggest plot twists of kitten season. When Terry first came to us, he was VERY much giving us 'I belong outside and would like you to stay approximately 47 feet away from me' vibes. He was not making enough progress toward becoming adoptable over a four week period, and we had reluctantly decided that returning him outside might be the best option for him. So, Terry went in for TNR. And apparently, while he was under anesthesia, somebody gave him a complete personality transplant. He came home from surgery suddenly wanting ALL the pets. I figured it was just the drugs talking and that once they wore off, our little street baby would return.

But... 24 hours later, Terry was STILL ridiculously sweet. He has apparently decided that being someone's spoiled house cat sounds pretty great after all, so naturally, were rolling with it! Terry is neutered and vaccinated. He wasn't combo tested because we weren't expecting this sudden career change from street cat to professional lap cat, but well be getting him combo tested and microchipped ASAP. His siblings are all double negative, so we expect he will be too.

Terry does have a very sweet but very shy gray tabby brother named Barfight Billy. Billy is definitely more reserved and takes a little time to trust people, but we think hell warm up quickly in a quieter home where he can relax and learn that humans aren't so scary.

Terry and Billy would love to be adopted together, but it isn't mandatory. What they really need is a playful feline companion to keep them company, so they can also be adopted separately into homes with another friendly, playful cat.

Basically, Terry went from absolutely not suitable for indoor life to EXCUSE ME, WHERE IS MY FOREVER HOME? in approximately 24 hours.

And honestly? We're very happy to be wrong.

Tire Iron Terry is officially ready for his next adventure!

Don't miss your chance to bring this love-bug home.
