Tippy (& daughter, Marmalade) URGENT - FOSTER NEEDED!

I was trapped with my only surviving kitten, Marmalade, in June of 2022 at a colony at a residence near the hospital and other medical buildings in Cookeville. I was extremely cautious and distrusting as I had been wandering and struggling to survive outside when I discovered this new colony where a nice lady actually put out water and food for kitties every day and tried to give us some safe shelters in which to hide and sleep without so much fear outside. The colony of other kitties reluctantly accepted us, thank goodness. After being trapped, I was taken to a clinic to get spayed. I was worried because I was separated from my kitten, Marmalade. But I got reunited with her soon, safe in a bathroom at Miss Tana's house. We actually really like it in the bathroom. It's our safe place. We have a cat tree in there and everything.<br/><br/>It took me a very long time for me to trust Miss Tana enough to actually WANT her to pet me, but now I definitely do. I finally realize I have been missing out. Being loved and petted is great! I watched from a safe distance as my kitten grew to quickly love Miss Tana and would run to her and actually climb up on her wanting to be picked up and loved. I slowly learned that Miss Tana meant us no harm, and that only good things were happening to us with her. I will now go to Miss Tana, rub around her legs, and look forward to being touched and petted. I even like getting in her lap and being loved on now. I still get nervous about being picked up and carried around though. I will let her do it, but I am very tense about it still.<br/><br/>We love Miss Tana a lot and have bonded with her, but my kitten is only one year old and I am not much older. We have a lot of years to bond with someone else and have a whole house to ourselves and all the tender loving care and attention of our human(s) to ourselves. It gets a little chaotic and overwhelming at the Feline Felicity house sometimes with all the other kitties. I know my kitten Marmalade does not get along with some of the other kitties here. She has that auto-defense cattitude of "I will get them before they get me," so sometimes she actually causing the problems, but does not seem to understand that. I tend to be more chill and just avoid other kitties if needed. From the outdoor life, I admit I did teach Marmalade not to trust easily in order to try to keep her safe.<br/><br/>I believe it would be good for Marmalade and me to have the chance to be two spoiled feline divas, furever living out the rest of our lives as cherished precious family members. Would you give us a chance please? You might be our purrfect person, and we could all live happily ever after. We are both spayed, vaccinated, internal and external parasite free, combo tested negative, and microchipped.
