Tippy's Story

Tippy is a purr machine just like his litter mates. He is an energetic kitten but also likes to lay on your lap. He will also lay on your chest and sleep. Tippy has fun playing with other kittens, adult cats, and people, too. Tippy is a TV fan. He loves to interact with the folks on TV, especially those who do the weather. He will walk back and forth on the TV stand touching the hand on the screen. He loves to play with cat toys, especially the little spring toys and just like his litter mates he likes playing with a whack-a-mole toy. Boxes to climb in are his favorite, too. He enjoys climbing up on a cat tree at the window to see whats happening outside. At his foster home he sees birds, fox, deer, and raccoons out pf the window. Tippy is ready for all the love he will receive and give in a forever home. Consider adopting two kittens, it will be twice the love and twice the fun!! And they will entertain each other when you’re away from home.

Lucky Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

Prospective adoptive parents fill out an application either at an adoption location or online. (Online is best because it gets e-mailed directly to Lucky Cat Rescue volunteers and is checked numerous times daily.) A Lucky Cat Rescue volunteer reviews the application, checks veterinarian references, personal references, etc. The volunteer contacts the prospective adopter to set up an interview. The prospective adopter completes an interview with a volunteer adoption counselor. If the adoption counselor approves the adopter, a Lucky Cat Rescue volunteer arranges a time for the adopter to meet the cat (if they have not already been acquainted). If the adopter and the cat are a good match, the adopter fills out the rest of the adoption paperwork and takes his or her new companion home.
