Marshfield Area Pet Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoption Policy: Adopter must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Online applications are preferred. Adoption coordinator will contact applicants within 2-3 business days. This may vary depending on the number of animals in our care. Online app: www.marshfieldpetshelter.org/adoption-application Adoption Fees: Puppies < 5 months = $275.00 Adult dogs > 5 months = $225.00 Senior dogs > 7 years = $150.00 Kittens < 5 months = $125.00 Adult cats > 5 months = $100.00 Senior cats > 7 years = $50.00 Working Cats = $0 (donations are always welcome and appreciated) Adoption Fee includes: A general physical examination and behavioral evaluation Canine/feline distemper combination vaccination Bordetella (canines only). If old enough, a rabies vaccination. Deworming medication Flea/tick treatment Canine heartworm test (if age appropriate). Feline leukemia (FeLV) test available upon request. Spay/neuter surgery Microchip w/registration
