Despite his mobility issues, he can still do things all on his own, such as using his litter box, eating and drinking. He is such an independent and resilient little guy! He also loves his carboard scratcher.

Tiny and his brother were found by a Good Samaritan after a stray cat gave birth under their home. That individual took the litter in and had to bottle feed them until they were strong enough to be on their own. Tiny is about 7 months old now and are ready for his forever home. Since he has balance issues and falls over quite a bit, having carpeted areas or rugs would be ideal; however, he does just fine on sections of the tile flooring. He will need a home where he will not be able to access stairs, since he would run the risk of falling on them. Tiny would also do better with raised feeders to assist him with eating and can be slightly messy, but we have a great system that works perfectly for him.

Please consider opening your home to Tiny as your new furry family member. Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
To adopt a pet we require you fill out a application. After doing so we will verify your home address and talk with your current vet. Our goal is to get our beloved pets into a home that is loving and the pet becomes part of the family unit. We also require you sign a agreement that if you decide for any reason you do not wish to have the pet any longer, the pet must be returned to us. We hold the right to refuse adoption if we feel pet and family are not a good match. Please understand we do not wish to upset anyone, but the family and pet must be happy. Therefore the pet must be able to interact with the family and it's activities. Also the family must be able to care for the pets physical and mental needs. We may require references as well as home visits. We put a lot of love into our precious pets and we know you will be just as caring and concerned as we are for the well being of our pets. Thank you for your understanding.
