Tinsel's Story
Okay guys, hear me out. I swear I’m not keeping Tinsel, buuuuuut she’s simply too perfect to go to just any home. The rest of the board says I won’t let her go, and I need to prove them wrong (😆) but we need the most loving family in order for me to do that. Tinsel has CH, making her a wobbly cat. She functions 100% perfectly as far as litter box habits and all things cat, she just cannot jump, takes stairs extra slow and steady, and bumbles around, especially on hard floors. She plays with the other cats, but cannot participate in rough play, as her defenses are lacking and her coordination leaves much to be desired. Tinsel LOVES sun bathing and absolutely loves to go outside (always supervised, of course!) We think it’s because she gets better traction in the grass, allowing for better exploration and engagement.

She’s a petite little girl, full grown and weighing just 4 pounds even. She purrs and seeks out attention by leaning into your leg, but does not prefer to snuggle in bed, presumably because she knows she cannot get down on her own if needed.

Don’t be fooled by her permanent RBF, it just comes with her condition. She’s the sweetest little girl, rocking a bright white whisker on either side of her adorable face.

Tinsel does not need much in the way of special accommodations, other than a low-sided litter box and preferably carpet here or there to aid in traction. She would likely thrive in any home understanding of her condition, but previous CH experience is an added bonus. While it’s not required, we also feel she would appreciate a gentle cat friend, as she’s in a busy foster home with lots of other cats that keep her entertained, even when she can’t join in on the chaos.
