Tina Dynamite (bonded siblings Kip & Napoleon Dynamite)

Hello there, friend! Thanks for stopping by!

At Hobbes Haven our mission is to help shape & support a better life for feral & stray cat colonies in our varying communities of the Columbia River Gorge.

We want to introduce you to Tina Dynamite (don't forget his bonded siblings Kip& Napoleon Dynamite)

Tina Dynamite is the big sister of her litter- this brave girl protected her siblings from the first day they arrived at Hobbes Haven. I would observe her sitting up against her two little brothers, smooshing them with her body like the outside spoon. Just like the llama in the Napoleon Dynamite movie, Tina sticks her little tongue out when she meows just like a llama when they make their alarm call. Tina is talkative and likes to get your attention by chatting you up until she gets a nice chin and body rub. This big sister will always watch over her two little brothers, and you will have the pleasure of seeing these three little copies grow and flourish to be devoted, eager-to-please and wonderfully warm little beings.

Tina Dynamite and his siblings were rescued from a trailer park in The Dalles, Oregon. Two young stray moms, around 4 months old, each had a very difficult time with their first litters. These young moms were lucky to find a porch to dig under and a broken roof to crawl into to birth their litters. When Hobbes Haven got the call about these kittens, there were over 12 kittens running around. By the time we were able to actually catch the kittens, we only walked away with 8 kittens, and one unfortunately passed during the rescue. The kittens we pulled from under the porch were covered in fleas, and the ones that we pulled from the roof were so jammed in there, that it was how one of the kittens passed unfortunately, by the time we were able to break the roof to get to them, the kitten was lifeless- an incredibly hard start to their lives. All of the kittens were covered in fleas, but the ones under the porch where we found Tina and her siblings, were almost anemic from the number of fleas on their tiny bodies.

Due to them being rescued together and tamed for domestication alongside one another, they have endured growth together that has bonded them. Our goal is for Tina Dynamite to be adopted her bonded siblings Kip & Napoleon Dynamite.

Currently we have an estimated guess that Tina Dynamite was born mid July . Her adoption fee will cover:
- Her spay surgery: ensuring he will have a healthy future!
- x3 FVRCP vaccines- the full kitten series
- 1 year rabies vaccine
- x3-4 deworming treatments
- Flea bath & month-long flea protection
- Nail trims
- Microchip with a lifetime subscription
-----

We hope to find families that will keep in touch with Hobbes Haven and update us with pictures and videos of our rescued friends! Remember that many times we have been fostering these kittens for many months, and that is another reason you know Hobbes Haven is a good-hearted organization to support, because our goal is to find the RIGHT homes, NOT a home RIGHT NOW.
Here at Hobbes Haven we focus on supporting the health and well-being of feral and stray cat colonies via T-N-R-M (Trap- Neuter- Return- Monitor); if we encounter kittens or cats young enough or friendly enough to domesticate, we rescue them from those sites and work with them directly to get them healthy and ready for a second chance at life as a part of a family and a home. Our rescued cats and kittens are unique being that they were born as feral or stray cats, meaning it took more time and involvement to domesticate them may than others. When you support Hobbes Haven via your adoption and donations, you are helping a bigger ripple effect, because you are supporting existing feral cat colonies stop their cycle of suffering by getting all colony cats sterilized and vaccinated, but also offering a very rare second chance to a few lucky ones.
At Hobbes Haven, your adoption fee helps us cover this Cinder's first veterinary care at one of our collaborating veterinary clinics in the Columbia River Gorge.

Up to the point of adoption, Hobbes Haven has covered all expenses out of pocket- your donations help us cover these collective costs and truly make a difference!

------

Interested in adopting Tina Dynamite?
1. Email us via this link or at HobbesHaven@gmail.com- please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
2. Catch us at one of our upcoming Adoption Clinics held at our collaborating veterinary clinics- follow our socials to learn about the next ones coming up!
3. Make an appointment to meet us virtually and see these rescued kittens in a relaxed and comfortable state.

** Note: We are looking for the right families seeking a bonded pair of kittens- our preference for the benefit of the rescued kittens is for them to have a sibling to grow alongside with, this is for their acclimation to their new home and for their overall quality of life.*
