Tina and Louise's Story

Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Tina and Louise, a bonded pair of kitten sisters! They are approximately 11 months old.

Tina is an affectionate tortoiseshell girl who loves being the center of attention. She loves snuggling and making herself comfy in your lap, chasing her sister, and snoozing at the top of her cat tree. Her favorite things include crunchy treats and wand toys.

Louise is a curious grey and white tuxedo girl who likes to spend her time chasing pingpong balls, inspecting cardboard boxes, and snuggling with her sister. She can’t get enough of Da Bird wand toy and Churus. She is the more shy one of the two and looks to her sister for reassurance and courage.

Tina and Louise were trapped in February and have since made lots of progress with their foster family. They were both very weary of humans but have slowly decided that indoor life is not too shabby. They both enjoy pets (and prefer to approach you for them than the other way around) and have been able to learn lots from the resident cats in the foster home. They are very food motivated which has been a great tool in getting them comfortable with different people/rooms/sounds. They need time to adjust to new things, but once they do their personalities really shine.

Together, these two make a very sweet pair.

What Tina and Louise are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Tina and Louise! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
