Timid's Story
This sleek beauty is the opposite of Timid! Obnoxiously affectionate and super chatty, Timid was a recent stray who LOVES people and attention! This young adult kitty would be a great indoor or indoor/outdoor companion to someone who needs a shadow Fully vetted, she is available to meet at Lake Anna.

Please email megshrum@gmail.com with questions or follow the adoption process below.

The Adoption Process

If you are ready to meet this feline please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10664/generic
Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills.
A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.
The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about their likes, dislikes, and little quirks.
The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you're ready to take the feline home as your furry forever friend, their adoption fee is $150.

Should the match turn out less than perfect, or if you are unwilling or unable to care for an adopted animal, the Louisa Humane Society will take the animal back into our care.
