Tim the Bengal's Story

We’ve been rescuing animals for nearly 30 years and this is the first purebred Bengal cat we’ve ever had. This magnificent, 14 lb silver giant is named Tim and he came to us after being confiscated as part of a hoarding/neglect case. He was living in an utterly filthy home with 20+ other animals. In addition to the stress of living in that horrible environment, poor Tim was further traumatized over this past month by his capture and subsequent shelter stay, multiple vet exams and then finally being transferred to a foster home. This sweet boy needs a new, forever home where he can slowly decompress and begin to heal from the many difficulties he has endured.

Though Tim can be shy initially, he warms up quickly and will beg for your attention. Tim loves to be petted and he will headbutt your hand, demanding more and more of your loving touch. Tim’s demeanor is calm and curious. He loves to explore and follow his people from room to room. He is comical and almost dog-like in his mannerisms and personality. Speaking of dogs, he previously lived with them and he doesn’t seem to mind their company. However, Tim would prefer to be the only cat in his new home. If you are looking for an exotic, unique companion and want to give a deserving fella a fresh start, please consider adopting Tim.

Tim is approximately four years old and he is fully vetted -- neutered, microchipped, FELV/FIV negative and current on his vaccinations and deworming. His adoption fee is $100. We accept payment in the form of cash, CashApp and Zelle. You can apply to adopt by submitting an application at https://sohfga.com/cat-adoption-applications/.
