Tilly's Story

Tilly is a sweet girl who just wants all the pets and love you'll give her. She was rescued from the beechgrove area when a sweet woman and her daughter were caring for her. When they realized she was pregnant they wanted to get her to a place that was safe for her and her arriving litter. Neither of them could take her in and due to dogs being let to run loose and raccoons they were on the hunt for a rescue. Thankfully she was taken in and had her 4 sweet babies in a safe quiet place. Now that they are weaned Momma Tilly is ready to find a home thats just right for her. She might take sometime to adjust but once she is cozy be prepared for all the chatter and headbutts. She isn't a fan of being held but will lay next to you from time to time. She does great around kids, but is more of an alpha female and is just staring to tolerate other adult cats now that her babies are getting older and she's not so protective of them. As always, a careful, slow introduction to other pets in the home is important. She has medium to long hair. Adoption fee is $100. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed and kept up to date on flea prevention. Our adopters are screened by completing an application and a phone (or in person) interview. Before completing the adoption, they must agree to keep the cat(s) indoors and to not declaw. An adoption agreement is signed and the adoption is finalized.
