Tiki's Story
Best Match:

Seeking an adopter with some experience

Could join a calm home with cat savvy teens

May be ok with other cats

Needs to be indoor only

This inquisitive gal with the pretty yellow-green eyes is Tiki! She’s a young cat with plenty of energy and a lot of love to give. Her foster shares she settled in quickly and rewarded them with lots of happy purring once she realized she was safe and cared for.

Tiki has a playful streak and gets the zoomies every day. She’ll race up and down the hallway and around you, again and again, just a blur as she goes by. Her toys of choice are string toys, but she also very much enjoys chasing after flies. She’s like an all-natural pest control.

Like most young cats, Tiki is still learning her manners and she does sometimes get a little excited while playing and may go for a swat at you- so knowing when to stop and recognizing cat body language is key. Tiki can also still be a bit skittish and sensitive to loud noises and may hide at first, but she’s gaining confidence with each day that passes and will come out when she hears you call for her.

When her energy is spent and she’s ready to relax, Tiki loves to stretch out in a nice sunny spot for a cozy afternoon nap. She enjoys watching birds from windows and will chirp at them from wherever her perch is. She’ll jump on chairs, or your lap, or just generally be a curious cat. Tiki can also be quite talkative, and has a soft, quiet meow that she’ll use when she wants your attention or to be petted. Generally, she likes to stay close, even staying in bed with you until you get up, waiting until you start your day.

Tiki is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FELV and FIV.
