TIGGY & TIGGER's Story

Hi there! Our names are TIGGER and TIGGY!

I'm TIGGER! I was picked up along the side of a highway at 0100 by a friend of my foster mom. Her friend thought I had been hit by a car becaused I was very misformed. As it turned out, it was from being so emaciated and I was probably lying there to die.

Fortunately, my foster mom picked up on how dire my situation was and picked me up first thing the next morning. She was so fearful I was going to break when she picked me up and immediately took me home and started me on small frequent meals of kitten food. I was so starved that it was painful for he to pet me.

A couple of days later, Ms TIGGY was taken in, and also hungry. We immediately became fast friends, even though I was a tom cat. Even though we are not related, but look alike, my foster mom would really, really like if we were adopted together.

TIGGY was found close to the Dairy Queen in Lake City, MN. she was scared and hungry, so a kind family took her in. They would have loved to keep her, but they already have several felines.

My current foster mom took us to her vet right away because TIGGY had a lump under her chin. My vet discovered a bot larvae where the lump was. It was removed and I was started on an antibiotic. I will go back to see her in a couple of weeks for a follow up and to receive my other initial vaccinations.

During our first few days we were at first in a kitty condo. The condo allowed us to get used to our surroundings and all the other kitties and the two BIG dogs! TIGGY was greatful to have a companion. TIGGER was so sweet! Our foster mom thinks TIGGY was separated from my mom too early. TIGGER became my very best friend. I absolutely love snuggling with him.

Our foster mom has become very fond of us, because we are so sweet and CUTE toghter!

We have been spay-neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for worms, lice and ticks. We are heathy and ready to become a member of your home.

Please call or text our foster mom, Julie at 507-259-5958.

Our adoption fee is $200 each or $350 together.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society adoption contract does not allow the declawing of cats or kittens adopted from their organization.
